Success on Your Terms is the self-guided toolkit to help you re-write your definition of success. Because if you’re in a career that looks successful but doesn’t feel successful, it probably means you’re building it around somebody else’s definition.

Ready to re-write success so you can finally build a life aligned to your core values?

You want to feel fulfilled in your career. You want to feel like you’re in the right place, and like everything is lining up exactly as it should…

The only problem is, you don't. (*Record scratch*)

Technically, your role is amazing. It checks all of your boxes, pays well, and is super impressive. Everyone you know would say you’re killin’ it! So…if everything is perfect, why do you still feel like something is wrong?

You feel the lump in your throat build as the doubts begin to surface. Your hands get clammy. But still, you’re not quite sure what’s going on! As a result, you try to push your doubts down, chalking them up as “unreasonable” and completely gaslighting yourself. You even start to tell yourself you’re broken for feeling this way. “This is probably just a me thing. I should be more grateful. I’m too difficult.”

It’s not a you thing, though, and you’re not broken.

Here’s the deal, my friend:

I’ve been in business for over half a decade now (🤯), and there’s typically one main issue behind this…if you’re in a career that’s great on paper but feels unfulfilling, it’s normally because you’re building your career off of somebody else’s definition of success. You’re building it based on what you “should” be doing versus your actual core values, and unfortunately, that’s a recipe for a career that looks impressive to everyone, but feels wrong for you.

So, wouldn’t it be amazing to start building a career for you? To refocus on yourself and what matters most so that you can not only be successful, but also feel deeply fulfilled? Wouldn’t it be rewarding to have a life that’s entirely built on your definition of success?

It’s possible. Not only have I done this, but I’ve helped countless clients with this too.

You can define success for yourself and refocus on the things that matter. By building a values-aligned career you can find peace in your career, where you’re no longer second-guessing yourself or wondering whether you’re in the right place.

Imagine the clarity and confidence that comes with defining success on your own terms, based on your unique values and aspirations. That’s possible for you, my friend…

If you’re ready to write your own definition of success so that you can start making decisions that make you happy …

Hi, I’m Chris!

I started Empowered Achievers to help high achievers build more values-aligned careers.

I feel so strongly about this work because I didn't always have a career I was passionate about. In 2014 I was working at an advertising agency in San Francisco with Google as my main client, churning out award-winning campaigns. Everything was amazing, until I realized over time that I had fallen into my role, and I just didn’t love it anymore. According to outward appearances, I was super successful. I was in a high powered career that oozed coolness. Everybody loves Mad Men, right? But despite all of that, it wasn’t fulfilling. And life is way too short to spend the majority of your time stuck in a career you don’t love. So in my determination to find what I did love, I started exploring. And over the next couple of years, everything changed for me…

Today, I work to empower others to clarify their career needs so that they can shift their role into alignment too. Because you deserve to build a life for you, friend.

I created these exercises to help my clients learn the basics of building a career for themselves. While I have all kinds of models for support, including my flagship self-guided program, Purpose Chaser School, I found that there are some people who just need the basics. They’re hoping to dip their toes in and explore this work, but they don’t need quite as much support as some of our PCS members. I created “Success on Your Terms” for them!

The reframed definition of success you receive from this work will help you guide your career decisions moving forward, and will help you understand where things may be “off” in your day to day. It’s the foundational work that you have to do before building a career you love.

While “Success on Your Terms” is new, the exercises and models I teach are not! I’ve been in business for 6 years helping high achievers through this exact process, only now breaking out this content on its own in order to provide a more cost-accessible alternative to those of you who are simply needing a little reframing.

Here are what some of the EA Alums (who have done these exact exercises) have to say:

Zoe

"Chris helped me pause and actually listen to what values may lead to a fulfilling career for me. Learning to unpack what I thought would drive me to be successful and who I actually am at my best self demonstrated some gaps, and allowed me to move forward with intention."

Maddie

"My favorite thing about working with Chris was that she challenged me to think outside of everything that I had ever been taught in regards to my career.... What this allowed me to do was conceptualize a career for me and no one else. She gave me permission to build the life that I want. Working with Chris was one of the best investments I've ever made."

Katherine

“Before working with Chris, I felt a dissonance in my career - one that I had observed for six years, despite holding a few different roles. She gave me tools to untangle several things, and help me find MY guideposts for navigating my career ”

Don't let another day go by feeling successful but unfulfilled. You deserve more, and it starts with redefining success on your own terms.

“When we first started off, I was plagued by this larger feeling that I just wasn't quite satisfied with or fulfilled by my overall career trajectory; it was this deeper question/fear of "Is this all there is?" I think I knew inherently that it didn't have to be that way, but I also knew that I wasn't going to get the necessary clarity or plan for moving forward on my own. That's why I'm proud that I took the leap to work with a career coach. [Now] I feel that I have a better sense of myself, what's important to me, what brings me joy, and what I value, and I'm empowered to use those insights to craft a path forward that aligns with the person I am at my best. I have a toolkit of resources and learnings about myself that I can turn to again and again as I continue my career evolution. And that's all because of EA.”
